Step 16 - Not by Sight

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I have this strange feeling I am about to have little spiders crawling and dancing all over my blog.

No, I am not hallucinating. I have added Technorati and they want me to add this Link Technorati Profile and then "Release the Spiders" so they can find me. Just in time for Halloween.

Copyright © - Xinfinitum.com

The amount of $1.05 was added to the DTAMP stake from "The Infamous Advertising Source" directly to my checking account that is being used for the "Double To A Million Plan".

Because I am now at Step Sixteen I am no longer subject to Rule Number Three that states; "During the first fifteen steps you must use the actual coins and notes gained in the preceding step".

Now that I am in Step Sixteen I do not have to use the actual money and am free to use a checking account or a Paypal account for selling things on Ebay or other mediums of financial transactions.

The first "Non-Cash" transaction was the $1.05 that came from the aforementioned source directly via ACH to my checking account that is specifically designated for DTAMP. Before Step 16 this would have been a one way transaction. I could have received the $1.05 to my checking account and removed it in the form of cash. But I could not take my cash and move it into my checking account and then use those funds in a transaction.

At Step Sixteen I am free to now move money to any source or medium needed to make whatever transactions are necessary.

This puts me at a total of $161.40

I have come up with a few new ideas that I am going to begin implementing that came as a result of some of the things I have learned through the first Fifteen Steps, all of which are not revealed within the pages of this blog. It is wise to not reveal all of ones revelations, knowledge gained or ideas for future projects. As I have said before some things need to remain proprietary.

Another thing that may be confusing is that the "How to Double Your Way to a £Million in 28 Steps" approach is quite different from the "Red Paper Clip" method.

With the Red Paper Clip Method your goal is to take an object of a certain value and trade it for an object of greater value attempting to double or more your stake each time. It seems that if you are lucky you will be able to do this until reaching the goal you wish. This approach of exponentially growing is not quite the same as the "Double To A Million Plan".

According to the Report the How to Double your Way to a Million Theory utilizes Steps where you do not necessarily double your stake on each trade. Rule Five states; "You can carry out as many transactions as you like, until you have succeeded in doubling the stake money". Even if each of those transaction is only one cent each.

In addition you are not to worry about future doubling and what kind of strategies you will need to accomplish them. You need to focus on the present step alone. This is a skill that is gained through practicing it, staying focused.
When I was back on Step Eight and redeemed my first B.O.T.T.L.E. I never realized that finding and returning them would even go beyond Step Eight let alone help carry me through Step Fifteen. Rule Seven says that you will need different strategies as you proceed through the different Steps and admonishes to not worry about how you are going to manage those future Steps. Therefore planning how you will do these future steps is not advised. You may have some ideas along the way and the best thing to do is write them in your Log and when you reach that Step you can try them out but you may find that things are nothing like you thought once you are actually there.

So the skills you gain or the techniques or strategies you use at Step 8 may not be what you can use at Step 19 and so on. But there will be some things you gained that are not as evident, some of the more foundational perspectives and beliefs that you will carry with you throughout the entire project and beyond.

This is a journey in which the clearest view of it all is when you look back after coming through. Attempting to look forward and thinking that you see the path clearly before you may be found to be only an illusion. Each Step is more of an act of faith than sight and faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Step Sixteen - One Small Step

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

As described in the "Time Line" I took some "moneymaking reclaimable metallic objects" back to my source of "business revenue" where I received cash, thirty-five cents ($0.35) in fact, that I have added to my growing collection of assets, namely my DTAMP "Stake".

This brings me to a total of $160.35 for my continued "Business Project" or "Profit Generating Experiment".
You may be wondering why I am not using the "B" word and instead referring to it as a "Tangible Financial Resource".

Well, recently I have attempted to add a "Cash Producing Revenue Stream" to my Blog by allowing some Advertising, as you may well have noticed. The only problem is, instead of having Ads that deal with things like money, business, revenue, profits, opportunities etc. Things which people that may come to my Blog could be interested in, I am only getting Ads that pertain to the following:
Not that that is a problem but my Blog is not intended to be specifically focused on that subject, despite the fact that it pretty much has been for most of the Steps.

Lets be honest it is hard to make money. Some people say it is easy and for them maybe it is, but for people like me, Ringo Starr said it best: "It don't come easy. You know it don't come easy." In fact, in most cases, it don't come at all and instead seems to flow in the opposite direction. If it were easy to make money, then there wouldn't be so many books written by millionaires about just how easy it is, while they make more money from the sale of their books.

But I won't get into all that just yet.

I have also added a few new people to my "Comrades in Doubling" as I have been finding them.

Things have slowed since starting Step Sixteen and a re-evaluation of what will need to be done to generate more money for "Double To A Million Plan" is in progress.

Motto: It is only "one" found penny.

Step Fifteen - Completed

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Step Fifteen Completed October 24th, 2006.

Accomplished in 15 days on day 83 of the Experiment

The first Major Milestone has been reached. Step Fifteen is now complete with the return of 172 Bottles and Cans to the Wine Store. Received $8.60 and added it to the $151.41 for a total of $160.01 . Removed the $0.01 as Overflow for this Step ending with $160.00

After all this time the garbage bags used to pick up the Bottles and Cans are still in tact and usable so no further cost will need to paid for them other than the rent already paid.

It has been a long journey to get to Step Sixteen but now I can try to implement some ideas I have been thinking about. I don't know if they will work, but then again, I never thought I would get to Step Sixteen so something may work to keep me moving forward.

A few side notes: I eliminated the Feedblitz email feed because it was not reliable and tests showed that I wasn't getting the emails everytime I made a new post. It wasn't reliable enough.

Although I may not be posting any more pictures of the actual money, I thought, as a farewell tribute to the actual cash, I would post a couple pictures one last time.

From now on I will be using various accounts to utilize the money in different projects, so the cash will no longer be available to handle.

Thats about it. I am now ready to start Step Sixteen and see how that goes.

Step Sixteen's objective is to go from $160.00 to $320.00.

You can read the "Time Line" to get more information of what has transpired.

Step Fifteen - Part Three Continued

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

On October 22nd, 2006 I turned in the previously mentioned ticket and received the $1.60 to add to DTAMP. This brings the total to $151.41

I also went and looked for more bottles and cans as well. The day started out slowly and I found very little, but I ended up back on the last road I was successful at, only coming in from the other end of the road and there I found a large number of bottles and cans.

I also found a tennis ball and a pen.

From a preliminary count I have enough bottles and cans to complete Step Fifteen and hope to turn them in on Tuesday the 24th.

I wanted to address one of the other Doublers' comments.

It sounds like you are about to hit a bit of a transition in your labor activities. While I have no doubt you will not stop collecting cans, it would seem you will have to step up your workplans very soon. I am very anxious to see which ideas you've come up with to impliment for your upcomming Steps.

This is true. I had always seen the completion of Step Fifteen as a point of transition. At Step Sixteen I will be free to use money that isn't the actual cash and this opens up other possible opportunites on the internet, etc.

Outside of the internet I will need to come up with ideas that will generate larger amounts of cash as well.

The collecting of Bottles and Cans is slowly coming to an end because of a number of reasons. One is hunting season is coming and it is not wise to roam around the woods when there are people with guns about. When out Sunday I heard gun shots off in the distance and felt the time is drawing nigh to end the Bottle Hunt.

Another problem is that most of the leaves have fallen for Autumn and they have covered everything making it very difficult to see the bottles and cans.

So the Bottle and Can expeditions will become fewer now.

Regarding some of my ideas, I may not be able to reveal specifics about some of them until after I am no longer attempting to utilize those techniques. I may only refer to them as Proprietary Idea #1, Proprietary Idea #2 etc.

I have had some ideas that I have wanted to try for awhile but some of the Rules have prevented me but soon I will complete Step Fifteen and be free to implement them.

Thanks for your comments and I am glad this Blog encourages you to continue forward.

Step Fifteen - Part Three

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I managed to get that last load of Bottles and Cans down to the Wine Store today.

In a previous post I had said there was about 300 to return, I must of miscounted because when I recounted at the store it ended up being 202 Bud Cans, 93 Bud Bottles and 108 other plastic, aluminum and glass bottles for a total of 403.

I got $20.15

I am a bit mystified how my original numbers were so far off. It was a pleasant surprise and made all the effort I had put in to get them feel worth it.

I also turned in four other plastic bottles and cans at Shaws for $0.20 more so my total for the day was up to $20.35

When I got home and took everything out of my coat pockets I found I had forgotten to turn in another slip for 32 Plastic Bottles @ $1.60. I will need to go back to the store and turn in that Ticket and add those funds to DTAMP on my next update.

Since I still have the Ticket I have a chance to show it to you.

So at the present time my Grand Total has reached $149.81.

I only need $10.19 more to complete Step Fifteen.

Step Fifteen - The Smallest Coin

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I found a dime ($0.10) last night in a Mall parking lot. The dime has the smallest diameter and smallest thickness of all U.S. coins currently minted for circulation, so it was a surprise to find it in the dark. Good thing it is shiny.

This brings my Total to $129.46

I've added an email subscription option should anyone wish to use it.

I hope to return the remaining Bottles and Cans Saturday.

Until then....

Step Fifteen - A Pile of Trash

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

In some respects I am getting good at Alchemy. Turning Piles of Garbage into Silver and Gold. Well, its not quite gold, more like green cloth and the silver is mostly zinc or nickel and a little copper.

Overall, progress is being made, albeit slowly.

As reported in the "Time Line" I found a penny ($0.01) at Wendy's on October 15th bringing the total to $129.36

I have also been out collecting more bottles and cans for return. I picked up nearly four more trash bags full but the yield on actual returnables this time was not very good. A little over 100. So I have a little over 300 more to return at this point.

Here is a picture of the bottles and cans before turning them in.

I have also been collecting the "non-returnable" aluminum cans in the hopes of finding a metal collection place that might pay me by the pound for them.

I thought I would throw in a picture of the pile of them as well.

Bottle and Can collecting is becoming more difficult due to time constraints, colder weather starting to arrive, trouble with Frozen Shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) which is very painful as well as severe pain in my feet and ankles which makes walking very difficult. The doctor took X-Rays and I need physical therapy to see if some of these things can be corrected.

Mostly I am just plain sick and tired of smelling like old beer and wet dirt.

Despite the fact I had to crawl through the woods and swampy areas filled with lyme disease carrying deer ticks, I persevered. Just recently, during one of my scavenger hunts, I quickly looked down and thought I saw the reflection of a can out of the corner of my eye and started to grab it when it decided to move. It was actually a snake and it wasn't pleased that I considered it a Budweiser. We both jumped, that is if snakes can jump without legs.

Anyways, Step Sixteen is so close I can taste it. I just need to keep moving forward.

Motto: It is only "one" found penny.

Step Fifteen - Part Two

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I was able to make $40.00 by working on the computer I had previously worked on. They needed to be hooked up to the internet via Cable Broadband. I went with the owner to pick out the router and cable modem. I hooked up everything and got them online.

I applied the money to DTAMP. So I am up to $129.35 and need only $30.65 left to complete Step Fifteen.

I also have been out looking for bottles and cans on a few new roads and have managed to pick up three garbage bags full. I will need to sort through them and redeem them at the Wine Store soon.

Gotta go sort Bottles and Cans.

Step Fifteen - Are We There Yet

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Around the World and Half Way to the Moon

Someone asked a good question in the comments of the last post that I wanted to address.

The question was:

"If you lined all up those cans and bottles end to end would they encompass the whole earth?"

The answer is: Yes Virginia, there is a heap-o-cans.

After exhaustive research my calculations are as follows:

"To See the Large White Board Image Click Here"

As stated before there are 285.714 bottles and cans per mile and there are 3,972,800 miles of roads in the USA so that comes to 1,135,084,579.2 Bottles and Cans across the country.

An average Bottle is 9.00 inches long and the average can is 4.875 inches long. Assuming we use a 50% ratio of bottles to cans we get 3,520 bottles and 6,498.4615 cans per mile or a total of 10,018.461 (bottles and cans to stretch one mile laid end to end).

The circumference of the earth is 24,900 miles so we multiply that by the quantity of bottles/cans in a mile and we get - 249,459,678.9 bottles/cans needed to circle the earth once.

But we have over a Billion of them so we can actually circle the earth:

4.5501725337144254618055631594898 times

Thats over four and half times around the world at the equator. To collect them all up though you would have to walk around on nearly 4 million miles of road. You would also need to double that because you got to cover both sides of the road, so its more like 8 million miles. That would be the equivalent of walking around the earth's circumference over 321 times to pick up all the trash.

As a side note the moon is 238,856 miles away and if we could lay the bottles and cans end to end we would get half way there. In fact while out there we might actually be able to pick up some good pieces of aluminum circling the planet to bring back as scrap. It is highly likely that there would be a few Bud cans floating around as well.

Motto: It is only "one" found penny.

Step Fifteen - Part One

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Once more Bottles and Cans start another Step in the Experiment "Double Your Way to a Million in 28 Steps".

I returned 187 Bottles and Cans today for a total of $9.35 putting my DTAMP total to $89.35 .

To date I have returned 1,406 Bottles and Cans for redemption. Thrown away over 100 bottles that were non-returnable and still have around 500 aluminum cans that I hope to trade in and be paid by the pound if i can find a metal collection place that will take them.

That is over 2000 Bottles and Cans on no more than seven miles of dirt roads and some larger highways. That is 285.714 Bottles and Cans per mile.

There are 3,972,800 miles of roads in the United States. If there are 285.714 returnable Bottles and Cans per mile on these roads that could mean that there would be 1,135,084,579.2 out there.
More than One Billion One Hundred and Thirty Five Million Bottles and Cans.

There probably isn't that many but there could be Hundreds of Millions of them. Just the weight of aluminum by the pound could be worth a lot. One source says scrap aluminum is around $0.92 per pound.

The average empty beer can weighs approximately 1 / 2 an ounce. It would take about 32 cans to weigh a pound.

If we take the 1,135,084,579.2 and divide that in half for the found bottles, we get 567,542,289.6 Cans only. Over 567 Million Cans.

In pounds that would come to 17,735,696.55. Seventeen Million pounds times $0.92 equals 16,316,840.826 , thats over 16 Million dollars worth of Aluminum.

The problem of course is collecting all that scrap up, but if you could you would be a multi-millionaire.

Motto: It is only "one" found penny.

Step 14 - Epiphany

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Special Announcement: As of October 9th, 2006 2:00pm EST

Step 14 has been completed.

See the "Time Line" for further details.

Several posts back I promised that; "I will be writing, soon, something I have just seen about myself, that has stopped me from being successful all my life and this Experiment has been an element, in helping me, to finally see it."

I am a fairly good at doing things, especially with my hands. I do have some skills and talents to a certain extent. In other words, if I look at myself objectively, I could come to the conclusion that I have enough capabilities to be successful. Some people consider that I am already successful. From an intellectual stand point I am no shlep either. It may sound like I am blowing my own horn here, but I am only mentioning it because, to me, it didn't matter how capable or talented or intelligent I was, I was not a success. Period.

Why did I think that? I had a belief and that belief was this: "if I couldn't make a million dollars in a very unique way I was a complete failure". I am not sure how to define what that "unique way" actually was, but I figured I would "Know it when I saw it".

Somewhere along the line, when I was young, I formed the belief that the only way I could consider myself a success was to become a millionaire. It didn't matter to me that I had capabilities that many people considered adequate or even exceptional.

I passed off those capabilities as meaningless and common place. In other words, anyone could do those things and they weren't millionaires, so those talents or abilities must be valueless. That first million was my only concept of success.

It was not only a detrimental belief, it was a devastating one. It caused me to miss out on many things for the last thirty something years, as I tried to come up with some clever way to get that Million dollars. It also caused me to do things that cost me or lost me money, as well as a lot of time and who can even begin to imagine what else. In the mean time, that approach was torture, torment and misery twenty-four hours a day with no sign of relief. I was a complete failure in my own mind.

As I look back, the belief may have been formed by an event with my Father. My Father always wanted to teach me to be a winner and he did this by never letting me win any games we played. He felt it would make me tougher to really win and not win because he let me. He had an extremely difficult childhood and had to be tough to survive. So teaching me to be tough was very important to him. I am just glad he didn't name me "Sue" or something like that. Anyways, always losing at competitions may have had an unexpected side effect. By losing, almost all the time, I learned to lose rather than win. Practice makes perfect even when you practice losing.

Ultimately, this may have been the best thing for me because I was a relentless, indomitable child who fought like crazy to win. Learning to lose may have provided me with a better sense of humility and balance and may have staved off any driving ambitions for world domination.

One day, my Father was putting golf balls into a plastic cup in the livingroom. He asked me if I wanted to play. As we were putting, he made a friendly wager and bet me a quarter I couldn't put the ball in the cup. I proceeded to put the ball in the cup. He then suggested "Double or Nothing". So if I could put the ball in again, I would win Fifty cents, but if I failed I would get nothing. I kept sinking putts and my Father keep betting "double or nothing". Twenty something putts later he owed me over a million dollars. Phenomenally, I kept sinking one putt after another.

The more money that I was owed, the more focused I became and just kept putting the golf balls into the cup. Emotionally, it became highly intense with huge amounts of money riding on every putt I made.

When I got to over a million dollars I told him I was done and wanted to collect my money. But He wanted me to putt once more at "double or nothing". Naturally he was trying to get out of the situation caused by my unusual string of putts. He knew I couldn't do it forever, I was bound to miss eventually. Although I wanted to stop, I putted again. This time, I missed and lost all the money. I was totally upset by this, of course, and went and complained to my Mother who proceeded to berate my Father. My Father has no memories of any of this.

I probably formed some mechanisms and beliefs to deal with the situation. I may have then spent the next thirty-five years or so trying to win that game again. Most everyone is spending a great amount of time and energy trying to either repair or redo something from their past, even if they are not consciously aware they are doing so. Some of those things may seem so trivial that it would be hard to imagine that they affect us to this day.

Of course my Father wouldn't have been able to pay me the million dollars, that is ridiculous, and deep down I knew that even when I was a kid. But I feel that somehow that situation changed the way I believed money could be made, especially the first Million. That was my first experience with Doubling to a Million.

It is kind of ironic, that it is another "Double to a Million" attempt that has helped me to see some of these things, or perhaps it is not so ironic after all. It may very well be that the door into a bad or false belief is the same door out, only after a long sojourn there. The key is finding the door again, or perhaps, timing has everything to do with it.

Lets get back on track after that detour down memory lane.

I was trapped by this belief system. No matter what anyone said, I couldn't get myself out or have the ability to apply a different alternative to approaching matters of making money. It wasn't that I couldn't see those alternatives, I am fairly good at examining all perspectives of an issue, I just couldn't actually do anything any different about it, at all.

One job I had, when I was quite young, I wore many hats at and I had a lot of job titles. I was the Electronics Technician, Quality Control Tech, PCB Designer, Draftsman, Graphics artist putting together technical manuals, marketing material, training documents, plus inventing a few tools to speed up production by 300%.

I was working my tail off. From the standpoint of completing all my work well I was successful. When my review came up, the President gave me a Fifty cent an hour raise, said I didn't deserve it, and said that my mind was a million miles away as well as other derogatory statements. I look back on that comment now and I realize he was wrong. My mind wasn't a million miles away it was a million dollars away.

After starting this "Double to a Million Plan" not only did I begin to see things in an entirely new and different light but I suddenly had the ability to apply these new principles and benefits from them.

Some of this may be why I am so adamant about following the rules as fanatically as I am.

The first thing I saw, as I mentioned in a previous post, was that my focus was on the money, way off in the horizon, a million miles away and I was tripping on what was immediately right in front of me. Some people call that a "dreamer" and perhaps that is what I was. I have a tendency to be quite visionary and the future seems to be a place I am more keenly comfortable with. The problem with having certain gifts that enable you to see a long ways off is the tendency to not be able to focus on the practical, down to earth, in your face, right in front of you, sort of things.

So you spend a lot of time with bruised knees from tripping and falling on the immediate or temporal. I have taken a whoopin from the temporal, (a.k.a.) the here and now. Although I believe that; "Only that which is eternal is valid", the temporal can be a real pain in the butt as it beats you up one side and down the other.

The revelation I have had during this DTAMP experiment or project is this:

The million dollars is not the measurement of success, it is only the consequence of the true success. Discovering who you are, what you're made of, increasing your capabilities, expanding yourself, growing, that is the true success. And if you focus on those things, the wealth, the million dollars, the money, will follow.

The skills that you hone, the talents that you gain, the experience that grows and the wisdom you acquire, these are the things that are the true success. The million dollars is merely a consequence of it.

Let me say it again, one more time:

Money is not the measurement of success. The gained skills, insights and capabilities are the measurement of the success. The money is a byproduct of that success.

What I have begun to see, going through the last 14 Steps, is the value and enjoyment of working the projects and gaining the experience and skills associated with each step. Suddenly, instead of the money becoming the prominent figure in this, what I was doing and learning became the most important and rewarding factor.

It may very well be, that because the amount of money I was collecting on each project was so small, that the comparison between the amount of effort and the amount of money received changed my perspective on the value of the money. It took a lot of work to gather up all the cans and bottles to receive so little for it, yet the experience was actually fun and rewarding in an entirely different way. It was so disproportionate between the work and the money that it seemed almost ridiculous to do it for the money and I started to do it to clean up the streets of my community. Suddenly the value shifted from money to community service and the benefits of living on clean roads. The money took a back seat.

The revelation of money taking a back seat was an Epiphany. Money suddenly took on a new meaning and dimension. It lost its power and its luster and the belief lost its significance. Money fell into its correct position, merely a tool to use and the belief lost its ability to continue to create bondage and havoc, replaced by a healthier belief.

As a result, I am seeing rapid improvement in all the financial areas of my life that, before this, suffered from my incorrect focus on the consequence and byproduct and not on that which is the true success.

Another consequence is the gaining of the ability to enjoy what it is I am doing. When I was only doing things to achieve the end goal of the money, I could not enjoy the work or the process thus losing out on any immediate benefits. When everything one does is for the ultimate goal of the profit then the ability to enjoy the process may be lost.

This "Double Your Way to a Million" idea has been just what I needed and came along at the perfect time.

Motto: It is only "one" found penny.

Xinfinitum

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I haven't made any money to add to DTAMP, but in the mean time:

I have been collecting Bottles and Cans over the past week and it looks like there may be enough to complete Step 14.

There have been some ideas I have wanted to implement to try to raise funds for DTAMP but can not because of Rule #3. The first Fifteen steps require the use of the actual funds and does not permit you to use replacement funds.

This can be very inhibiting during the first Fifteen Steps because it doesn't allow you to pay for things using a check or egold or paypal, etc. You have to use the actual original coins and bills that were gained during the trades or transactions. I am looking forward to completing Step #15 so that I will be more free to try different projects and plans.

Lessons:

(1). Looking at how well other people are doing in comparison to you, when they are doing pretty much the same thing as you, can in some cases, be encouraging. It can inspire you to work harder and keep you going. But there is a danger as well. When you see how great they are doing with their ideas and you are floundering along trying to just keep you head above water, you can get discouraged.

It can be difficult to seperate what you are doing from what they are doing and if they are doing really well, you may feel that there is no way you will be able to keep up. This is sometimes referred to as "keeping up with the Joneses" and usually affects people that are more competitive.

The great thing about the "Double Your Way to a Million" Plan is everyone moves along at their own pace and on their own path. Each person will move along in different ways and proceed at different speeds. Keeping ones competitive propensities under control can help to not breed discouragement.

If you do start to become discouraged you may find taking your focus off what others are doing and throwing yourself into some ideas you have, no matter how small or trivial, to improve your current Step, will help to encourage you and keep you moving forward.

Step Fourteen - Part Three

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I returned some Bottles and Cans today. 187 in all.

The only problem I ran into was that the owner of the Wine Store said he had overpaid me for Ten bottles one other time and he subtracted it this time.

So I only added $8.85 or the equivalent of 177 bottles and cans.

This brings me up to $67.00 in Step Fourteen, only leaving $13.00 remaining to complete the Step.

One unexpected boost this step came from doing the work on the computer. I received my first $20.00 Bill for that.

I spent some time this afternoon picking up more beer bottles and cans and I was sticky and stinky afterwards. Even after a shower I reeked of beer. I also had to bring in a piece of plywood that had some mold on it. I decided to spray it down with bleach. Afterwards I smelled like bleach beer. To a certain degree I am really looking forward to finishing up collecting bottles and cans to raise funds for DTAMP.

Please check out the "Time Line" for more Information and Statistics.

Step Fourteen - Part Two

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I have been rather busy and unable to get any time to update my DTAMP experiment or project. I did manage to update the TimeLine regarding addition funds found or received.

Since my last update on Sept. 27th I have found a dime, spent $3.00 for a project I will be working on and rebuilt someone's computer for $21.00. (By rebuilt I mean reinstalled the operating system and programs to eliminate a virus.)

So I am up to $58.15 in Step Fourteen. I still have around 200 bottles and cans that I need to return soon. I hope to continue the search for them as well.

In the mean time:

The following is not a true story, I swear.

While looking for beer bottles outside the Mexican Restaurant "El Aztec Grande", I pulled out a beer can that was half buried in the ground and under it I noticed something that looked very peculiar. It looked like a part of a carved stone. So I kept scraping the dirt away.

Eventually, I uncovered a large flat stone which had been inscribed with symbols.
I was excited by this discovery and felt it might be valuable. Upon further investigation I found it to be an ancient Aztec Calendar. I took it to my lab and designed an electronic device that when attached to the stone enabled me to read the exact date and time. I called the device a Chronocalendometer.

I will now be using it to precisely indicate entries in my DTAMP

"Time Line"

You can read more about it here:
