Step 16 - A New Year This Way Comes

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Two Thousand and Six is nearly over and a New Year Cometh.

That is all I want to say about 2006. It was not a very good year for me, in fact, it has been one of the worst in the top five for my lifetime. That is all I am going to say about that.

So, I guess I will recap the last Eleven days.

December 22nd, I found a penny ($0.01) at Burger King in front of the register on the floor.

On December 23rd, I went to the Wine Store and brought in the pile of Aluminum Cans that were questionable as to whether they were redeemable or not. It took nearly half of them, 209 for $10.45 return. I was very pleased at this unexpected outcome and financial windfall.

When I was walking in, I noticed that there were two tickets sticking out of the machines, one for ($0.30) and one for ($0.45) . It seems a lot of people forget to press the button after finishing, walk away and then the machine pops out the ticket but there is no one there to take it. I may start just popping into the store to see if there are any tickets left behind.

On December 26th, I stopped at the Bank to conduct some business and saw a Quarter ($0.25) on the floor and went over to pick it up. That was the largest value coin I have found to date.

December 27th, I stopped in to get my glasses which have been redone six times. I was relieved when they actually worked. On the way out, I spotted a penny as I got to the top of the escalator at Macy's Department Store. I paused to pick it up, and quickly discovered why it was there and why no one had picked it up previously. Stopping at the top of an escalator will inevitably lead to a large pile of humans struggling to get out of said pile whilest more humans pile on top of them. Can you say Pile-Up.

I escaped with the coin.

Actually I am just funnin, I have become very talented and swift at picking up coins from the ground before anyone knows what is happening.

Later on the 27th, I stopped to visit someone and they gave me Thirty-One pennies ($0.31) they had laying around. I appreciated that. They also had a large jug filled with pennies and made indications they might give them to me as well.

They also gave me a toy from a cereal box called an X-BOX. The instructions called it Spaceship Blaster. It is a cute little game with an LCD screen and some controls to manuever things on the screen and a trigger to fire at the approaching enemy seeking to get your "One Found Penny". Here is a picture in case you never saw one. I know I never have until the other day.

If anyone is interested in purchasing you very own X-Box just let me know.

Step 16 - The Day before.....

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

'Twas the day before the night before Christmas, when I recycled some cans
Millers and Budweisers and all kinds of brands;
To fatten my stake that I doubled from a penny,
That started with but one but soon would be many.

I crammed in one can then crammed in some more,
while watching the readout keep track of my score;
The money kept rising, as they went into the gap,
whilst hearing the crunching just like bubble wrap,

When suddenly the machine started making such a clatter,
I looked into the hole to see the crux of the matter.
I then ran down the aisle to get a store clerk,
He opened the machine and said "now it should work".

I was ready once more to start shredding and crushing
I tried to be calm but found myself rushing,
This time it seemed all to work like a charm,
Until the machine started eating my arm.

In a knee jerk reaction I pulled it back quick,
as I thought to myself "You can't be that thick".
I started loading the box, it took it fast as they came,
I got so excited I called out each can by name;

"Now, Schaefer! now, Sam Adams! now, Miller and Coor's Light!
In, Falstaff! in Fosters! in, Red Dog and Stroh's Light!
To doubling my pouch, to increasing my "Stake"!
Till carrying my money makes my back ache!"

With metal a grinding, the empty cans tear,
the poor little containers haven't a prayer,
One after another they meet their demise,
Through the crunching and squashing I barely hear their goodbyes.

It seems unending the number of cans that I crush,
But soon it will end and no more will I squash.
That fateful moment quickly approaches I fear,
when there will be no more cans free of beer.

And then, I now realize, theres’ no cans in the bag
This realization, I find, is such a drag.
I reached up my hand, to press the green switch,
Down out of the front the ticket pops with a twitch.

A slight anticlimax can be felt as I stare
at that little red ticket in my hand lying there.
But I must accept that the end is at hand,
after all that is what I always had planned.

I went to the store owner to turn in my claim,
to wrap this all up and finish the game.
He accepted my tickets and gave me a smile,
Then produced the cash with flair and extraordinary style.

After the exchange, I jumped into my car,
I started to drive but didn't get far.
When I heard him exclaim, as I drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night."

Step 16 - A New Stock

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Yesterday, Sunday the 17th of December, I did a little Christmas shopping and found a penny on the way into Walmart and then another one on the way out for a total of two cents to add to my Zero to a Million adventure.

Also this morning, at 9:33am, I purchased a new penny stock.

I bought 200 shares of WRNW at $0.13 for a total cost of $26.00

Present Stake: $175.93

Step 16 - More Returnables

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I finally brought more returnables to the Wine Store today for redemption that I had collected awhile back.

When I first walked into the Store's machine area, I noticed a ticket still in one of the machines. I pulled it out and it was for $1.65. That was a great find.

As I was putting bottles into a machine another ticket suddenly fluttered down in front of me. It seemed like money was floating down out of the sky. It was for fifteen cents ($0.15).

Someone must of placed it on the top of the machine and forgotten it. It had been there since December 9th.

I also turned in 81 returnables for $4.05.

In addition, I found a penny ($0.01) on the ground as I was walking back into the store to collect the money. I ended up with a total of $5.86.

So my present "Stake" is now up to: $175.91

Motto: It is only "one" found penny.

Step 16 - The First Investment

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Presently, I am still on Step 16 out of 28 Steps of this penny doubler project.

As you know, I recently took some of the funds of my "Penny to a Million" Stake to invest in a Penny Stock.

On December 6th, 2006, I bought 1430 shares of SLJB at $0.017 a share for total cost of $24.31.

Today, I sold all the shares for $0.023 for a 35.29% net profit totaling $8.58.

I am happy with the result, although, at one point the stock was hitting $0.027 yesterday, I had a feeling to get out but waited.

Step 16 - Five Pennies

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Although not significant, I wanted to mention that, last night, I found Five pennies while out with my wife. This is the first actual money I have been able to add to my stake since November 18th.

It will be a long journey going from a Penny to a Million doing it a few pennies at a time. I am hopeful that the "Double Your Way To A Million" plan will soon begin to accelerate. I hope to go more from a penny doubling to a dollar doubling technique.

Also, I thought I would give an update on the Stock I purchased with a portion of my Stake as part of my Penny Stock Plan.

SLJB - Down $0.002 at $0.015 > (-$2.86 /-11.76%) loss <

I will not be counting any gains or losses with the trades until they complete a round trip. That is to say, if I buy a stock I will not be recognizing a gain or loss towards my total stake until after I have sold that stock.

As I go along, I will try to come up with a format to present the statistics in a consistent manner. Right now, I thought you would want to know how it is going for the first week. Not terribly well as you can see but the Penny Stock Plan is more of a long term investment.

You can also check out my new Portfolio blog, that I hope to keep a continuing record of all the Double To A Million Penny Stock trades, including an entire historical record as well.

Step 16 - The Portfolio

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I spent a little time yesterday setting up a new blog that is sort of a Sub-Blog of this one, much like the "Time Line" Blog is.

It will contain the information regarding the trades that I am making as part of my Penny Stock Plan (PSP). There will be a Current Portfolio and a Historical Portfolio to show what is and what has transpired with the trades.

You can find the Portfolio in its bare-bones format here: "Portfolio"

I would also like to welcome a new seasoned Doubler, Team28, who is making a second attempt at Doubling. I want to offer my wishes of success as he makes a new run of it. I know what it is like for life to deflect you from what you attempt to do.

I am adding Jeff to my "Comrades in Doubling". You can visit Team28's Blog here:

Adventures Online

I confess, that the recent events in my life, almost derailed me from continuing on and even now I hold on by the skin of my teeth. I don't know what is making me persevere other than pure stubbornness and maybe a little remaining hope.

I still have a pile of Bottles and Cans left in the garage that can be returned but haven't felt up to bringing them in, I really have to try to do that. In addition, I also have hundreds of them that are non-returnable and I need to find a way to get some money for them as well. The snow is starting to fly and I need to have all the room in my garage back. Maybe that will motivate me to deal with the leftovers of the Garbage Collecting days.

Step 16 - The Primary Plan

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

When I first started following the Free Report: "How to Double Your Way to a £Million in 28 Steps", I had a pretty good idea of how I was going to attempt to achieve the goal.

To be honest, it is a long shot, but it is possible. Most people will think I don't stand a chance of making it and they will probably be right, but I will still be using the idea until it begins to prove to me that I don't stand a chance.

Despite the fact I am going to utilize this technique, I still plan on using any other methods that are available to me to raise funds for DTAMP as well.

My Primary Plan is to use the Stock Market to grow my Stake. What I first planned on doing back in August, was to utilize the Stock Market when I had accumulated enough money to trade. I figured I would need several thousand dollars to get started at the very least to make a go of it.

Xinfinitum.com

The reason my thinking was going along this track was mainly the "Commissions". As most of you probably know when you make a trade with a broker they take a commission for each trade. I have a Scottrade Account and for each trade it costs $7.00, so to get in and out of a trade it would be $14.00 plus some small additional fees.

I was very hesitant to try to trade $160.00 when the commissions were so high. Even if I went someplace else they were $3.50 to $4.95 for trading. Still too much to start with so little.

Then add to this that if I wanted to trade Penny Stocks or Sub-Penny Stocks the price goes up as they charge a percentage per share as well. It didn't look good.

My Primary Plan began to evolve over the months from wanting to trade Nasdaq or NYSE shares to working out a plan on trading Penny Stocks. Since this is a plan that starts from a Penny I thought that it was appropriate that when trading I would start with Penny Stocks.

Recently, I had found a Brokerage for my personal trading that didn't charge any commissions. I opened an account to try them out and it occurred to me that this was my chance to try to trade my Stake in DTAMP even though there was only around $160.00.

I put the $160.00 into the account and purchased a Stock. What I decided to do was to diversify and break up the $160.00 into $25.00 individual trades.

Yesterday, for my DTAMP Penny Stock Plan, December 6th, 2006, I bought 1430 shares of SLJB @ $0.017 a share for a total of $24.31. The best part was there was NO! commission.

At this point the stock has dropped off a bit.

I plan on buying five more other stocks at around $25.00 each and wait until they hit a certain percentage gain then sell. This could take time to happen as I plan on sitting on the stocks until they reach the percentage gain I have planned.

In the mean time I will continue to raise money in other ways to further expand my Penny Stock Plan (PSP) Portfolio.

To be honest, I am not very good at Sales or Marketing, whether in the real world or the cyber world. So my prospects of succeeding in those types of ventures would no doubt fail. I am also not very "lucky" in the business world as well, so the idea of starting a business or buying one is probably not a tremendously good idea. I have attempted to start many businesses since I was around sixteen years old and each of them has met a bizarre and unfortunate deadly fate. It was very ugly in each scenario.

At this point, this is the direction I feel inspired to move in and I plan on moving very slowly, very circumspectly and with extreme caution.

There is a good possibility I will fail, I will crash and burn, I will be brought to nothing and end up a Dead Doubler wallowing in my misfortune, but who knows, maybe it will actually work out and I will make it to the Million. Time will Tell.

Motto: It is only "one" found penny.

Step 16 - The Search

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

As you can probably tell, not much has been posted as of late.

There are several reasons for this. One, I have not made or found or gathered, in any way, additional funds that could be added to my Stake.

Two, I have had a serious, personal disaster that has, for all practical purposes, taken the wind out of my sails in almost every way. This has caused me to not pursue much of anything, one of which is DTAMP.

I have thought about it, but have not been able to muster up much in the way of pursuit. This latest trauma has slowed me down considerably and at this time, I feel it could take me months or even a year or more to recover.

When I first started DTAMP, I basically ran around trying to find ways to gather together a nest egg that would be sufficient to meet my main goal, what I called the "Primary Idea".

Copyright ©
Xinfinitum.com

In the background, I have been slowly and sporadically working on the "Primary Idea" that I had always planned on for the main source of income for DTAMP once I had accumulated the nest egg.

Due to the nature of the "Primary Idea" and the mechanics surrounding it, it was not possible to attempt to begin working with it when the funds accumulated were only around the $160.00 range.

In fact, I was going to need thousands if I was going to put my idea to work.

But, I continued to seach for a way, any way, that I could possibly put the DTAMP funds to work utilizing the "Primary Idea".

Copyright ©
Xinfinitum.com

Just recently a target appeared on my radar that looked favorable, a brand new possibility that would enable me to use only $160.00 and begin much earlier than anticipated.

For the last several weeks I set up this new found possibility and am nearly ready to begin to use it.

I will write more about it in my next post.

I did have some good news recently that has cheered me up a bit, and that is my Son after serving nearly two years in Iraq and Baghad, has returned to the United States unharmed physically, mentally or spiritually. For this I am very grateful.

Motto: It is only "one" found penny.
