Some funds came in for DTAMP since the last post. Yesterday, while at the Mall getting glasses, my wife found a Twenty Dollar Bill ($20.00) on the ground. (It has President Jackson on it).

She decided to give it to me for a Christmas Gift for DTAMP. Which was excellent!

Additionally, I received a 12b1 Mutual Fund Rebate on the 23.137 shares I am holding in a trade for DTAMP in the amount of ($0.16) and a dividend was paid which gave me .02 more shares for a total of 23.157 shares now.

The Market has pulled back and the trade is down -11.08% at this time, this week it had reached a high of only -5.0% at one point.

As I mentioned earlier a large portion of the DTAMP stake is tied up in a trade. It was down (-14.57%) the other day but has turned and is now sitting at (-7.68%) so the loss was nearly cut in half. Hopefully it will continue to rise but there may still be a little while to go on this trade.

I made a second trade with the funds I collected since getting into the last trade on 10/25/2007.

This is how that trade went.

Cash Available - $279.57

I made the trade utilizing $279.55 by purchasing a DTAMP Mutual Fund2 which is based upon the Russell 2000.

I went food shopping with my wife after I took her out to eat to celebrate the winning trades. I had made another trade in our Traditional 401K with another mutual fund based on the Russell 2000, only it it is leverages at 2.5 times. That trade made +9.67456%.

At the supermarket I saw Sherry, an employee at the store and she found ($0.23) in change on the floor while I was there and gave it to me to help with DTAMP. I appreciate her help. It is great to have support from others when doing a project like Doubling.

DTAMP received a boost in its stake on December 18th, 2007 , $231.58 to be exact. The money came from Creative Connections for the website design I did earlier this year.

This brought the total up to $1018.10 an all-time high. Reaching that first thousand dollars was a milestone for me.

Presently, most of the stake is tied up in a trade that has not gone well and is sitting at a (-14.57%) loss. Now this sounds bad but it can correct very easily and has only within the last two weeks been down as far as (-5.0%) loss. It fluxuates quite a bit.

My decision to get into the trade on 10/25/2007 was a good one, despite the fact the market was dropping at the time. It rebounded and there was a 4.34% gain for a day. But I made a mistake and didn't quickly take the profit. It immediately began another decent and I went into a losing state and have remained there since.

My biggest concern is that it could take a while before getting back up to where I got in and the delay, rather than complete loss or failure, is troubling.

I have a little more to work with now for the next trade, which is good.

For quite awhile now I have been occupied with another internet activity and DTAMP has not been very active. But recently a few of my Doubler friends have enabled me to add to my stake and give me a reason to write a little on this blog.
