Yesterday, I finally received a check from ClickBank for $43.52 . It has taken awhile to meet their criteria and get the commissions on the sales made from this blog.

They took the commissions on one sale completely and took charges for sending me a check as well has held back funds to cover any returns, which I will probably lose to them eventually because of their rules. But at least I was able to squeak out the majority of the funds to add to DTAMP.

Last Monday I got through the last of the second set of six BCG Cancer Treatments! I am glad they are over and am hopeful that the cancer is gone and will not return.

I am back over the $4000.00 mark for the DTAMP stake. Hopefully some new financial opportunities will come to keep adding to the stake. Step 21 is now only $999.51 away.

Double To A Million - Step 19 - Completed

Step 19 is Completed!!!!

It has been a long and tedious step but it has been worth it as it brings the stake up to $2560.00

I hardly believe it actually is over and I can move onto Step 20. Only 9 more Steps to go.

It took 372 days to complete Step 19 and so far the entire experiment has been going on for 966 days.

Here is the scenario that was the final action in completing Step 19.

I made another trade with the DTAMP funds yesterday at the end of the day when MFA dropped and sold it today.

DTAMP Equities Plan Report:

03/24/09 - Buy - 450 shares of MFA @ $5.46 p/s - Total $2457.00
03/25/09 - Sold - 450 shares of MFA@ $5.61 p/s - Total $2524.50Total ($67.50) - ($17.93) Fees = ($49.57)Net Gain of (+2.01018)% in the Amount of ($49.57)

The trade resulted in an overage:

Total: $2595.10 - ($35.10) Removed Amount for Step 19 to Step 20 Overage = $2560.00

I want to thank everyone who has contributed in any way, monetarily, encouragement, suggestions, etc. to the success of DTAMP and to the completion of this Step.

There were times I contemplated stopping but I kept coming back to the fact that if I just keep plugging away at it no matter how small a gain, eventually I will reach the final goal.

I see myself in front of this humungous boulder, and I have a hammer and I keep hitting the boulder, over and over, day in and day out. Eventually, maybe even in my lifetime, I will reduce that boulder to dust. If I don't give up.

Double To A Million - Step 18 - 1st Anniversary

Today is my One Year Anniversary as a Doubler and the birth of the "Double To A Million Plan" (DTAMP).

I decided to begin this Experiment on August 2nd, 2006 and I feel it has moved along quite well with many things gleaned along the way. In fact, I have changed greatly over the course of this year and I believe that the DTAMP project has contributed greatly to those positive changes.

I go into my Second year with the hope that I can continue to move forward with the project. Although I do not possess the unbridled zeal and passion of my earlier Doubler days, I hope that I have gained the wisdom to slowly continue to build upon the success of this past year.

Of course not everything was successful but failure, as we know, is a large and necessary part of the process.

I continue to follow the basic premises found in "How to Double Your Way to a £Million in 28 Steps"

I will do my best to stick to the rules and try not to stray from them. There have been many times I have been tempted to do so, as doing so would have afforded me the opportunity to enlarge my "Stake" substantially. But if I did then this experiment would come to an end.

I could start another project, that didn't follow the rules precisely, but followed the Doubling concept in general just to see how that goes. I will have to think about that idea further.

In the mean time, I will continue to work on this experiment and see where my second year will bring me.
