Step 16 - A Little Inspiration

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

Today I took my wife food shopping and afterwards we went to our favorite Chinese restaurant for lunch. It is the first we have been able to really get out in over a month, between my wife getting sick, me getting the flu/cold which put me out of commission for two weeks, and then her getting sick from my sickness and a bunch of other things.

It was nice to actually go somewhere. Plus the weather was nice reaching 51 degrees. Felt a bit like spring. Anywho, we talked about many things, including my new website, which I have been working on, in sickness and health, for almost a month, for every waking hour.

I told her all I wanted to get back on this, was the investment funds I put in from the DTAMP stake of ( -$16.19 ) . I would be happy with that even though I have put in hundreds of hours of time into it. I wasn't going to be greedy.

So, at the end of the meal, as is the custom, the waitress brought the fortune cookies. My wife's hit the nail on the head for her, usually she gets sayings that make no sense.

I then opened mine and I have to admit, I laughed out loud. I really liked this one. Perhaps, all the work I am putting into the new website will be worth it after all, or maybe some other
investment opportunity that I have cooking on the backburner will succeed. Who knows.

Back on March 4th, I made an estimate that the new website would be completed in a week, that would be tomorrow, March 11th. It will not be done, although, I did get alot further. I am making a new estimate and saying, perhaps another week, maybe a little less.

In conclusion, there are no gains to report, the stocks I purchased are scrapping the bottom of the barrel, and all the work I am putting into the new website has delayed the Creative Connections website design I need to get done.

That's all for now.

PS.. I noticed that other bloggers are able to write around the pictures they put up. I think it has something to do with div (clear?) somehow, but I can't quite figure it out. Have mercy on a poor old HTML hacker from 1994 and give a pointer on how to actually do it. I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi X !

Love the fortune.
When I post comments and pictures, I do it through the editor that they have.
When you select picture, alignment and size...after it is on your blog you can drag it to where you want it.
Dont know if this will help :)

Thanks Rachel,

I have been putting the code in by hand in the editor for calling up images from xinfinitum.com .

I tried the way you said. It worked, except, I noticed, that their was a bit of distortion in the image using that method. I couldn't get the fortune to be as clear as it was linking directly.

I did view the source and the code they are using may give me some clues how to do it.

They are using an (img style="FLOAT:) statement, perhaps that is how they are doing it.

Thanks for the pointer.

OK, thats good. I can adjust several aspects of the code. One is the Width and Height to eliminate the distortion and also the margins so it is not so cramped on the page. Super.

Thanks Rachel.
