I am closing in on Step 20 fairly rapidly now. Just $14.47 away from making it.

I did not make it by the one year date I had hoped for. Changing brokerage firms slowed me down a bit and sources of income have been hard to come by.

But I did get the new brokerage situation completed and made the first trade.

As you can tell I am paying much more for commissions now. But the ease of the use of the new brokerage interface may help me make faster and better trades so the commission may not be too bad of a detriment to the over all progress. Time will tell if that assumption is true.

There has also been an accounting error that has taken place. I forgot to enter a $25.00 gift that was received on February 26th, 2009. That error has been corrected and it has pushed up the amount of the stake.
