Double To A Million - Step 19 - Stock Trade

How To Double Your Way To A Million In 28 Steps

I made my first Stock Trade for 2009 for DTAMP and made a little money on it. I sold it prematurely as the stock continued to climb for awhile, after exiting the trade, to a high of $15.67 as of the time of this posting.

I am a little nervous holding the stock for any length of time because I am concerned it is presently in the high end of its present range and may decline in the near future. I do not want to get caught stuck in the trade should it begin to drop on me.

DTAMP Equities Plan Report:

01/02/09 - Buy - 150 shares of NLY @ $15.248 p/s - Total $2287.20
01/05/08 - Sold - 150 shares of NLY@ $15.40 p/s - Total $2310.00
Total ($22.80) - ($0.00) Fees = ($22.80)
Net Gain of (+0.99685)% in the Amount of ($22.80)

At the present time I am $237.99 away from completing Step 19. I began Step 19 on March 18th, 2008 and the one year point is coming up. I was hoping to make it to Step 20 by that deadline.

Present Stake: $2322.01

Congratulations on the first trade. I am looking forward to getting to a point in my project where i may be able to trade like this.

Only problem in Australia is there is a fee for a trade no matter, so i may have to wait a little longer to a level where more return is possible.

Thanks Joel,

Some brokerages offer free trades, like Zecco, under certain conditions and in other cases there are no commissions on certain equites no matter which broker you use.
